Oven Baked Southern Fried Chicken
Southern Fried Chicken is a delicacy especially in the South. From its tasty goodness, to its wholesome savory flavor.
Without further adeu, I present my Oven Baked Southern Fried Chicken.
1 cup of Flour
1/2 tbsp of ground black pepper
1/2 tbsp of iodized salt
3 to 4 douses of Paprika
1/3 cup of vinegar
1 lb of Chicken Drumettes
Pam Canola Oil cooking spray
4 cups of water
A pan of any size to bake

I get a medium sized plastic bowl, and I place for cups of water and 1/3 cup of vinegar. I use vinegar to clean the chicken of fatty goo, and the smell that Chicken often has.
I rinse the Chicken drumettes from the vinegar and water. I take a kitchen cutting knife, and puncture each drumette for times to allow marinate and seasoning seap into the bone and meat of the Chicken and infuse drastic amounts of Flavor.
I begin seasoning the chicken in the plastic bowl with the following ingredients: 1/2 tbsp of ground black pepper, 1/2 tbsp of iodized salt, 3 to 4 douses of Paprika.
I get a flat glass plate, pour the cup of flour and spread evenly, the flour will coat the chicken before baking.
roll each Chicken Drummette with the flour. Spray the Pam Canola Oil Cooking Spray.
Add each Piece of Chicken in the baking pan, On 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Take out and serve. For a crispy or crunchy edge you can bake an additional 10 minutes, increasing the temperature about 10-15 degrees.
The best Part is that it is Oven baked instead of Fried, less calories, no egg, or milk (for those who have intolerances)
