Unleavened Bread

Hey Everyone,

Its been a while since I've posted but there has been so much going on.... I am finally back to Earth and of course blogging.

I love to cook, but sadly im not much of a baker. So I'm cultivating and channeling my inner baker.

Passover has come and gone, And I had this urge for homemade bread. (Island Style, is a delicacy !- believe me there is nothing like warm bread fresh out of the oven.... with NO preservatives, GMOs, High fructose corn syrup, lots of unwanted sugar and Calories.)

I was going for wholesome and delicious. And of course without leaven bread doesn't rise. In my ingredients list, i'll tell you what you can substitute to give you the rise and shine you need.

Here's my recipe

3 Cups of King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour
1/3 cup of Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons cup of Selzter or Carbonated Water
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 tablespoon of Kosher Salt (Substitute with Sea Salt, or Iodized Salt *Mortons)
2 teaspoons of agave
1/4 cup of Breakstones Butter (Kosher)
2 cups of water.

A good key note to remember is that the Seltzer water and the Seltzer Water help with a little rise-n-shine without the leaven.
